Our Mission Statement

With Mary, Our Lady of Good Counsel, serving as our patron and guide, the mission of the Council of Catholic Women is to spread the love of Christ and to serve as role models for our own families, for our parish family, and for the greater community. We will support, empower and educate all women of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in historic Fredericksburg, Virginia, in spirituality, service and leadership.

Our Prayer

Heavenly Father, we are the women of this parish. We are your life bearers, your nurturers. Under the guidance of Our Lady of Good Counsel, we are tireless workers for your Kingdom. Please grant us the grace to be generous as Ruth, faithful as Mary and Martha, loyal as the women who watched at the cross. Please bless us and prosper the work of our hands and hearts. We ask this through Christ, who is our way, our truth, and our life. Amen.
