On June 7 the board of officers for the Saint Mary Council of Catholic Women was installed at a candle lighting ceremony after noon Mass.

No Parish Yard Sale will be held by CCW this summer due to renovations at parish properties.
When we meet at 10:00 a.m. in the Father Rooney Community Room, Marian Fagan McCabe, President of the St. Mary Book Club, will speak to us about the club and the exciting selections for the coming year.
After Marian's presentation we will have refreshments and a 50/50 $$ drawing, followed by a business meeting.
We will elect the Executive Board of the St. Mary Council of Catholic Women for 2025-26.
We will also vote on distribution of the charitable funds we have collected this year. Plan to be with us!
On Tuesday, April 15, the St. Mary Council of Catholic Women will welcome Lynda Rozell as their speaker. Lynda is an evangelist and author who has toured parishes in her Airstream as “The Tin Can Pilgrim.” She will be sharing with us her adventures in writing her latest book, Return to Me: Visits to the Tabernacle. Our meeting in the Father Rooney Community Room will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Linda’s presentation, which will be followed by refreshments, book signing, a 50/50 $$ drawing, and a brief business meeting. Everyone in the parish is most welcome to join us!
Join us on Tuesday, March 18 in the Father Rooney Community Room at 10:00 a.m. Parishioner and seasoned public speaker MIKE D'OSTILIO--a great favorite last year--will present "THE BATTLE OF FREDERICKSBURG: ITS IMPACT ON ST. MARY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH." After Mike's talk we will have refreshments, hold a 50/50 $$ drawing, and have a brief business meeting. EVERYONE IS WELCOME! We hope you can make it.
Join us Tuesday February 18 in the Father Rooney Room at 10 a.m. Parishioner Garrett Green, founder and owner of Green Fitness and Wellness (the fantastic gym downtown next door to Catholic gift shop Rex Rappahannock) has loads of tips and advice for women of ALL AGES for leading a healthy life! After Garrett's talk we will enjoy refreshments, have a 50/50 $$ drawing, and hold a brief but informative business meeting. We hope you can be there!

For the first time, St. Mary CCW was able to award a second Scholarship to Saint John Paul the Great High School. Same qualifications and requirements, same selection process. Same flavor (?) celebration cake! This time, to HELENA FRY. The award was presented on August 21, 2022.
